Ragi Adai












Ingredients
Ragi flour - 1 cup
Murungai Keerai - 1/2 cup (Cleaned and washed leaves alone)
Onion - 1 Chopped finely
Red chilly - 1 (Seeds removed and cut to small pieces)
Salt, Water and Oil


Preparation
Mix Ragi flour, Keerai, onion, red chilly and salt. Add water and make soft dough. Make equal size balls. Spread 1/2 tsp oil over banana leaf or plastic sheet and make adai shapes out of ragi balls. Mean while heat tawa and cook adai one by one. Sprinkle 1 tsp oil and flip to other side. Cook until it turns dark.


Note
1. Health wise very good recipe for growing kids and diabetes patients. A good evening snack.
2. Sweet version can be made by adding Jaggery.
